Our Impact
A tour leaves money in a city. The question is whose hands it reaches. Here is what we support, what we want to change, and what we still have to do.
01 / Community
The money stays at the stall
Our food tours run through the La Merced and Sonora markets, where many stalls have been in the same family for generations. What you taste is bought there, on the spot, straight from the stallholder.
The route changes when it has to: if a cook closes or moves aisle, we move with her. A market is not a stage. It is people working at nine in the morning.

02 / Nature
The axolotl and what is left of the Xochimilco lake
Xochimilco is one of the few places where the axolotl still lives in the wild, and its home is the water around the chinampas. These plots are not scenery: they have been farmed by hand since before the Conquest.
As long as they keep being planted, the water stays water. We want to bring our visitors closer to the people who hold that ecosystem up, and help its value be better known.

03 / Our commitment
10%
A goal we want to meet
Our goal is to put 10% of profits, after costs, toward the causes on this page.
